Crime Fiction
HPB Brookfield, WI, recently acquired a large assortment of crime fiction, with many signed first editions, mostly from the 60s through the mid-2000s.
The previous owner was a collector's collector, with multiple copies and editions of a wide range of authors' complete bibliographies, meticulously loved—a reflection of his lifelong obsession with the genre. In addition to being a voracious reader, he was a close friend of the author Michael Connelly.
Mementos of their friendship and shared interests are scattered throughout. There are numerous signed first editions of all of Connelly's books as well as rare foreign editions.
Here are a few highlights from this collection. If you'd like to know more, contact HPB Brookfield or stop by if you're in the Milwaukee area!
